Welcome to my space on the internet. It's really new, but it'll probably be about books.

I'm not sure you're allowed to say this in the book blog world, but – I'm almost thirty. I think I found a grey hair the other day. So of course I'm taking stock of the last decade or two.

I firmly believe that we all need to find something to do in our lives that stops us from eating the couch.
— Elizabeth Gilbert, "Big Magic"

All my life I've been drawn to anything creative and artistic: photography, writing (fiction, non-fiction, monologues, poetry), drawing, painting, graphic design, ballroom dance, swing dance, contemporary dance, acting, text design, coding – I've done all of these and never enough of any of them. Most of the time I am this close to eating the couch.

This year, I want to find a way to channel my creative energy. I want to read more, experience more, engage more. And because the written word has been the one big constant in my life, I'm gonna write about it.

Feel free to follow along.
